Foody is a full-featured mobile food delivery platform designed to simplify the way users order meals and how chefs manage daily orders. With dual user roles — one for consumers and one for chefs — the app delivers a clean, focused experience across discovery, customization, ordering, and delivery.

This was a personal UI/UX design project, aimed at creating a complete and scalable food delivery experience with thoughtful attention to flows, responsiveness, and real-world usage.

Deliver over 60+ well-structured mobile screens
Ensure a smooth flow from browsing to delivery tracking
Equip chefs with intuitive tools for managing orders and schedules
Build a modular UI system adaptable to any food delivery business

Primary Color: Warm orange with white/black contrast for appetite appeal
Layout System: Grid-based cards for clarity and scalability
Icons & Illustrations: Friendly, modern visual cues for both user types
Typography: Clean, rounded fonts for legibility across screen sizes
Visual Balance: Alternating light/dark UI sections for flow and contrast

Detailed order view with preparation timeline
Menu and availability editing
Daily earnings and scheduled orders
Profile setup with ratings and contact details

UX Considerations

One-hand navigation across key user flows
Quick action buttons for chefs to reduce task time
Sticky CTAs, minimal modals, and gesture-friendly UI
Clear state changes for order progression (pending → preparing → out for delivery)
Modular card structure for reuse across product types and offers

Outcomes

Designed a full-featured mobile-first food delivery experience

Reflection

Foody challenged me to:

Design for two distinct user personas within the same product framework
Build smooth, intuitive journeys with minimal friction
Think about business and operational logic (chef scheduling, delivery timing)
Polish a complete mobile app system end-to-end — from walkthrough to rating screen

This project reflects how thoughtful design can empower both sides of a food ecosystem — creating delight for customers and simplicity for chefs.
